Steam Workshop[edit | edit source]

On the steam version of Ages of Conflict, There is a workshop for people to public their own creations. Each categorized under Historical, Alternate, Fantasy, and Modern Day. These maps must follow a set of rules. Those being:

  1. Do not steal and copy other peoples work
  2. If your using other people's items as a base, make your items distinct enough and if possible, give credit to the original item's author in your item description

As of January 28, 2024, more than 6.500 total workshop items have been uploaded.

There are many workshop creations, and some of the best rise the ranks. With detail and effort, it is more likely that your item will be noticed and used. These lucky people have gotten their creations to the most subscribed and most popular (all time as of January 28, 2024)

How to upload a workshop item[edit | edit source]

In order to upload a map to a workshop, you must first create one. You may use a pre-made map or scenario or just make your own if you'd like. Once finished, your item should appear with a white star next to it. Click on it, then press "Upload to steam workshop." Afterwards you should get a big menu to edit before you upload. You may add a tag, put a description, and edit your title. Afterwards, you click publish. and there you go!

Updating[edit | edit source]

In order to update your items, select the updated map, click the upload button. Then the menu should appear again. In the upper-left corner, you should see a green switch that says "New Workshop Item." simply flick the switch so it turns yellow, then select the item your updating. then publish. And boom, all changes will be made to that workshop item
