The new world map revamp will be an entirely new map and scenario containing a new map with 196 Nations, (Un 193) as well as Kosovo, Taiwan and Western Sahara. This could be implemented sometime this month or in December the date is unclear. So far Europe, North America and Australia seem to of been completed.
