Ages of Conflict: Literally HOI4 Edition was an April Fool's prank announced by the developer JokuPelle on April 1, 2024 in the Ages of Conflict Discord. The prank announced a new version of Ages of Conflict remade entirely from scratch with all requested features, including multiplayer. The prank's name was a reference to the community's responses to many feature suggestions that were similar to features in the game Hearts of Iron IV- "literally HOI4".
Non-joke version 3.1.4 was released shortly after.
