The selected nation (dark green) and one other nation (light purple) are both puppets of their liege (dark purple)[1]

Puppets are an upcoming game feature hinted at by JokuPelle in an April 17, 2024 devlog. Puppets were shown to be purple in the diplomatic view.

Mechanics

Nations can have other nations as puppets. They will earn gold from their puppets.[2]

It is currently unknown as to how one nation can puppet another nation.

  1. ↑ JokuPelle: the lighter shade is the color of a puppet/fellow puppet, darker is the liege
  2. ↑ phofers: Maybe have it so that the more puppets a liege has the less gold the liege earns per puppet? (I assume you earn gold from puppets) JokuPelle: yeah that could work
